Privacy policy

Here you can read what data is processed when you visit this website, what I use it for and what rights you have. In short: I don’t use analytics or advertising services, no tracking cookies, and I don’t load fonts from third-party servers.

If you have questions about your data, just write to me.

2. Hosting and access data

This website is delivered via Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). On every visit, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data: your IP address, date and time, the page requested, the page you came from, and details about your browser and operating system. This is needed to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. I don’t analyse this data or build visitor profiles.

The legal basis is my legitimate interest in a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. More: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

3. Cookies and local storage

This website sets just one cookie: bsg_lang stores the language you chose, so you land in your language on your next visit. It is deleted after one year.

Your browser also remembers for the duration of your visit (sessionStorage) that the logo animation has already played. Both stay on your device and only affect how the site is displayed. You can delete them in your browser at any time.

4. Enquiries via the configurator

When you send me an enquiry, I process the details from the form: name, business, town, industry, email address, WhatsApp number, the package and extras you chose, your details on languages, domain, content and timeline, and your message.

The details are not stored on the website but sent to me by email. For sending, I use Resend (Resend, Inc., San Francisco, USA), sending from servers in the EU (Ireland). The email arrives in my mailbox at Hetzner Online GmbH (Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany).

I use the details to answer your enquiry and send you a quote (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). If no order follows, I delete the enquiry after twelve months at the latest. If an order follows, I keep the records for as long as tax rules require.

5. Booking a video call

When you book a video call, I store the date and time, your name, your email address or WhatsApp number, the service you chose, the language and the time of booking. The booking is kept in a database at Cloudflare (Cloudflare D1) so that a slot cannot be taken twice. It is deleted automatically 30 days after the appointment.

You and I both receive a confirmation by email, sent via Resend (see section 4). The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

For the call itself, we use the service you chose: Zoom, Microsoft Teams or WhatsApp. Their own privacy policies apply there.

6. Spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile)

To keep the form and the booking safe from automated abuse, I use Cloudflare Turnstile. Turnstile only loads when you open the form or the booking. To tell humans from bots, details about your browser and device and your IP address are sent to Cloudflare. Turnstile does not set advertising or tracking cookies.

The legal basis is my legitimate interest in preventing abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). More: cloudflare.com/turnstile-privacy-policy.

7. Email, WhatsApp and Instagram

If you email me, the message lands in my mailbox at Hetzner (see section 4). I only use it to reply to you.

The WhatsApp and Instagram buttons are plain links. Only when you tap them does WhatsApp or Instagram open, and from then on Meta’s privacy policy applies (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., Merrion Road, Dublin 4, Ireland). Simply visiting this website sends no data to Meta.

8. Fonts and content

All fonts, images and videos are hosted on this website itself. No content is loaded from Google or other third parties.

9. Sharing and international transfers

I don’t sell data and only share it with the providers named above, as far as needed for each purpose. Cloudflare and Resend are based in the USA; transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

I work from Paraguay, so that is where I handle enquiries and bookings.

10. Your rights

You have the right to access your stored data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict its processing and to data portability. You can object at any time to processing based on my legitimate interest, and you can withdraw any consent you have given.

To do so, just send me an email. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, for example in the country where you live.
